What data I process and why

Browsing data. Like any web server, the service hosting this site records some technical data: IP address, date and time of the request, page visited, browser type. It is used only to run the site, protect it and detect anomalies. Legal basis: my legitimate interest in the operation and security of the site (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Requests sent through the contact form. When you fill in the form I process your name, email address, company (if given) and the text you write, in order to reply and, if you wish, arrange a first meeting. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and, for messages not related to a possible engagement, my legitimate interest in handling correspondence (Art. 6(1)(f)).

The site does not use cookies, visitor analytics or advertising profiling tools. It does not load fonts or scripts from third-party services.

The service that receives the form

Requests sent through the form go through Formspree (Formspree, Inc., United States), which forwards them to my mailbox. Formspree acts as a processor on my behalf. Data is transferred to the United States on the basis of the safeguards provided for by the GDPR (Art. 44 et seq.), such as the standard contractual clauses adopted by the European Commission. Formspree keeps a technical copy of messages under its own privacy policy, which you can read on its website.

Providing your data

Filling in the form is optional. Without your name, email address and a description of your request, however, I cannot reply.

How long I keep the data

Only for as long as needed to reply to your request. I do not keep contact databases and I do not use the data for other purposes, such as newsletters or marketing campaigns. If your request leads to an engagement, the necessary data is kept in line with contractual and tax obligations.

Who can access the data

The data is processed by me, with IT tools and appropriate security measures. The providers of the services I use for the site and for email (hosting, Formspree, email service) may access it only to the extent necessary, acting as processors. It may be disclosed to authorities only where required by law. It is not published or sold, and I do not use it for automated decision-making.
